Labor Day weekend Blueberry Festival---Plymouth, IN
Here's a post w/ info that I posted in the chit-chat section a couple weeks ago in case anyone is interested:
I thought I'd post for all the travelers out there that in my town (Plymouth, IN---north central Indiana) there is a huge festival every year for Labor Day weekend. It starts Friday night and goes through Monday afternoon. There are 100's of craft and food booths (I think usually 300-400 booths)......wooden items, baskets, knick knacks, jewelry, sunglasses, cooking items, paintings, clothes, lawn ornaments wreaths, crafts, dolls, and lots more. Plus there's a carnival, live entertainment (gospel, oldies, country), all sorts of good food, fireworks, hot air balloon launch, tractor pulls, horse pulls, Jake Owens concert, parade, auto show and lots of other fun stuff.
Here's a link for more information: Marshall County Blueberry Festival in Centennial Park, Plymouth
It's free to get in but parking generally runs $5-$7 per vehicle for the day. Generally there are over 500,000 people that come to the festival this weekend from all over the country.

I sent the link to my brother, he fancies himself as the Tennessee Blueberrymeister! He's put out over 300 blueberry plants over the last several years. This year was the first year to have a really bountiful harvest. I came home with 4 gallons of blueberries after an hour and a half of picking a few weeks ago. My freezer is full!
