Sewing Machine on the Fritz - No Sewing for a While

My machine went on the fritz this afternoon just as I was getting ready to FMQ my latest baby quilt. My local repairman & his wife are at a Baby Lock convention for a week, so I won't be sewing for at least a week or more.
I still can cut out fabric for the next quilt & trim those charms that were too large. I also have other projects I need to get done--things I was putting off b/c I'd rather be sewing! JCY

Oh no! You have my sympathies I got my Sally last year as a Christmas gift, and I would be devastated if something happened and she had to go to the shop! I do have a backup machine, "The Beast", but given the nickname you can probably understand why he's not my first choice and stays under my desk in his case lol

I feel your pain, My machine is also at the "doctors" , he did not get to it before vacation so it will be looked at next week... Thank goodness I have her predessor to sew on. Although no bells and whistles she sews like a charm.

I'm sorry too! I'd go stir crazy.....I have my big Singer, then my small Audrey Babylock as a class and backup machine. Hope you get her going sooner, rather than later!

The dealers are in St. Louis for their convention, the Janome dealers are in Las Vegas--same thing, right? NOT!

I am so sorry to hear of you bad news. I am even more sorry you have to do other things than sew. Sometimes life is just too unfair.
