Thanks so much, I am getting better a little bit at a time.
I am working on that hexi star quilt that was discussed a while back The one that was in the Kansas Star expensive book but not using the book. I bought the hex and more ruler and working with that and it is going pretty well. Pictures will follow when it is further along. I have all the rows pieced and now sewing the rows together. So far only two rows sewn but I am happy with how it is turning out.
I have a jelly roll and a layer cake of this fabric; just love it, but also don't know what to do with it yet. My mind just gets muddled with so many great fabric lines and patterns to choose from.
I hope she let's us know what she decided!
I was going to do the one like Claire's, but I didn't want to put out the money for a book right now. So, I'm ordering a charm to go with it and will be making a Jacob's Ladder. All of the light colors in the roll really lend it's self to that pattern.Quote:

That one has lots of good patterns for jelly roll strips. I actually have another quilt from the book sandwiched and the quilting on it might even start today.
