Ruby, for a long time, I have been saying that I HATE my pincushion - its the purple tomato by Dritz. Now that you've posted, guess what I'm making tomorrow? Thanks!

I really need to get off the exclamation point.
It may give people the idea that I'm bright and cheerful all the time....

So is this how a cathedral quilt block is made?
I can't IMAGINE squaring this block off for a quilt, or throw!
    I am intrigued, though...

This Moda pattern looks very simple, however, I tried this one and I thought it was frustrating on the folding over part to stitch down the cathedral parts. Maybe I just lost my patience, but I won't try it again. There are too many other cute patterns.

I remember seeing one by Kaye Wood, I found this link, Potholders and Kitchen Quilts with Kaye Wood.mov - YouTube but that's not the one I remember. There are some video's listed under Folded Quilted Star Hot Pad if that is the style you are looking to find.

this lady has another one. Plum Easy Hot Pad - YouTube
