    Default Tomato Quilt Pattern

I've had a lot of inquiries about the tomato quilt I posted yesterday. I found the pattern in the JulyAugust issue of McCall's Quilting. I used a light background and made a couple of my tomatoes green to represent unripe tomatoes. This pattern could very easily become an Apple quilt just by changing the tomato stem to a brown stem. That would be darling! Basically the blocks are 8.5" snowballed with 1 3/4" background squares. The stem and the leaves are fused on. It was fun to make
