    Question Help With Sewing Machine

I worked with my sewing machine all day. I finally figured out the digital part of the sewing machine and the stitches. What I don't understand is figuring out the width and length of the stitches. I was wondering if anybody could help me out with that? The sewing machine is a Singer Fashion Mate, and the model # is, 7256. I have to type in what the sizes are.

I don't know your machine, but a good trick with any new machine is to take a piece of white fabric and using black thread, go through all your settings on length, and width, sew about an inch or so for each one and write next to each sample what setting it was on your machine. Then keep that with your owners manual to use as reference later on.

I don't understand what numbers to type in for the sizes. Would you be able to Google the sewing machine and look at what is confusing me.

Did you read your owners manual? All that information should be in there.

I just looked at some pics of the front panel. try setting it for zig zag and then using the round dial try the up or down for the length and the left or right for the width.
