    Default project table

Yesterday dh and I were at Costco and they had a great project/craft table. It is counter height and has shelves built in all around. It is very similar to the one sold at pottery barn for a LOT more money. This table is priced at $199.00, and is very well made. It has to be assembled but I was very impressed with it. I told my husband if I didn't already have a cutting table I would buy this one in a heartbeat. You can sit at it like a desk from either side, and it is almost like having a kitchen island in your sewing room! If anyone is looking for a great table for sewing this is a jewel, but beware my husband tried to lift the box and couldn't do it by himself, needs two men.

I know exactly what table you mean!!!! I looked at it long and hard, but decided to go w/the original plan I had for a new cutting table. Now if I'd only finish getting the wallpaper down, the carpet ripped up, the walls painted, we could put it together. Maybe when it starts getting cooler, because I'm not working upstairs doing that business in the heat of the afternoon when I get home from work!

I'm going to have to ask my daughter, she works in one of the Connecticut Costco warehouse. That sounds really nice.

Is this the one you mean? Sawyer Brown Arts and Craft Table This one is more, so not sure if it is the same one.

I have been looking around, not sure what I want to switch to someday - I currently have a hollow core door on saw horses, but it is working well for me. I think I may just look for some storage cabinets to go under it instead of the saw horses. Got to find some the correct height.

A bad day in the sewing room is better than a good day at the office.
