    Default Jenny's new tutorial

Just saw this and think it's cute. I bought one of those wedges some time ago......now, if only I can find it.
I think this would make cute place-mats or tablerunner too.

I got it a while ago as well. I opened it up and was really taken back at how tiny it was with that point. I also have the large one. I have decided to use the large one and have rows of the small one in there somewhere!

I have one of those too, I think I got it on a DD at one point, but I hadn't thought about what to do with it. I wonder if it would work for that last quilt in Jenny's fall Quilting Quickly magazine, Good Night Irene, I think is what it is called, [I don't have it in front of me]. It seems to have been made with 6 triangles with points facing the centers like large hexigons. Or, maybe I'm totally remembering it wrong, lol!

I once made a very similar quilt....well really just a sort of top....using flannel. I used really nice flannel, and loved how the fabrics looked together.... BIG MISTAKE... I had forgotten about all of those pesky little bias edges...and the fact that [U]flannel stretches[/U. Badly.. I had to scrap the whole project.

I just watched the video - I'm wondering about making a winter wall hanging - green trees with white snow? Maybe a mountain scene? Or a Christmas tree lot scene? Or maybe I should master a 4 patch first LOL.

I just bought the large one along with 2 packs of the dd. I figured I bought two templates in one, charm and layer. We will see.

You know, I think this is a great pattern to use with those "twice the charm" packs -( those 1/2 WOF strips that are 5.5 inches wide)
just need the bigger wedge template - which I think I already have!
now I just need more time!!!
    Happy Quilting!

I don't have the wedge but I'm wondering if it would work well to use the dresden ruler instead. Whatcha think?

Judy, I think it would be so cute with the dresden! I just may do that too!
