Not a clue, waited up for the DD and I just realized I am too tired to place an order.
If you aren't sure, spell it out. Quilting is the main word, Free Motion is descriptive.
FM quilted, quilting, etc.
Most quilters would understand almost any abbreviation.
I use FMQing often, but didn't think about using the past tense! I'd use FMQed. And I'm not even punchy!
Was FMQing as an action word. FMQed as in " it was free motioned quilted" as a descriptive word. Trying to remember how I taught this for 15 semesters to my ESL students.
Hmmmm.....a thought to ponder.....?
You ladies are so funny. Each one of you made me laugh. You are all great pick me ups and so witty.
Yesterday I finished a fmq. I fmqed each area differently, and I used a bobbin which contrasted with the backing so all my fmqing would show up!Attachment 54051Attachment 54052

She/he is fm quilting.
They are fm quilting.
We are fm quilting.
I /he/she was fm quilting.
They/we were fm quiting.
I/he/she/they /we fm quilted (past tense).
Unless you are in certain parts of England where you can say 'I were quilting'.....................
Or Scotland 'I was nae quilting.' (wasn't)
Grace-Ann, your FMQing is wonderful! I love your little quilt.
Looks great, love both sides! Although I find it sort of crazy to look at christmas stuff when I try to decide where to go for a late summer holiday :icon_giggle:
