Thanks Jean. One more question, To make one like the one on the wall do you just do random fabric squares? Is it possible to do a color wave? Well that was two questions. I need to go watch the video again.

This is the big twister quilt I made for my mom, using 10" layer cake. The "waste" material I used to make the border. There is some waste with each twister tool, but if you are very careful when cutting, you can "recycle" the waste!

I have the Itty Bitty Twister tool. You start with 2 1/2" blocks, the final piece ends up being 1". I tried it and decided this was too small for me. I am willing to give you the one I have. If you want it, PM me your address and I will send it to you!
Re: How hard is it to use the DD?
This twister has always fascinated me.. so I bought the 5 inch (DD price). I can always to place mats, right?? Or do I need that tiny one?? And am looking forward to a Pumpkin or Witch Hat.. Now to find the time to use it... LOL

Granny Ann, I made a table runner with my 5". I have the pattern for the wreath Jenny did, so I want to make that as well.
