How inventive. It would be good for anyone, including seniors for their books, glasses etc. Love the idea. Thanks for posting
Adorable!
Note to self....
That's so cool!
I would have loved one of those in college for my dorm - anyone have college kids?
I have college kids, and I would love one for ME as well! Lol! Super Cute! Thanks for sharing.
I think that is brilliant. However, in my household it would probably hold dirty socks, peanut butter spoons that were sneaked to bed for a late night snack, cracker crumbs, dirty underwear, used tissues (no, not those - they are just tossed on the floor). I had one similar but really didn't like it - I kept getting up in the middle of the night and catching my big toe in one of the pockets . . .
Yes! That's an awesome idea.
This is a great idea! I see my son filling it with Lego's and train tracks. My granddaughter would hide food in it that she doesn't want to eat.
So funny. Many years ago I had a friend whose 6YO old son had a habit of hiding food (I've heard that many kids do this, although we are lucky and don't experience it here - at least not that I'm aware of) - and she had a group of ladies from church over for a meeting one day. One sat down on the couch, putting her hand behind her to steady her landing, and jumped up screaming. Of course she immediately ran to the bathroom to wash her hands and my friend had to check it out . . . finding a very green and slimy hot dog . . . she was so embarrassed and I don't know if this lady ever returned to her home.
I need this for the piles of magazines on my nightstand.
Sandy - I nearly died laughing at the thought of somebody (you) catching their big toe in the pockets :)
That is relly cute... Love it.
Sandy
I love that idea. I need to make one of those for our bed, maybe that way we wouldn't always be losing the remote. LOL
I can see just one pocket, maybe 2. Don't want to encourage all that extra stuff into becoming a nightly ritual. My DD#2 hid food and it was generally found between her mattress's - in case she got hungry during the night - so she told me--- ??? Quite shocking to stick your hand into a pb & j sandwich when making the bed.
I'm a total dunce at making things, even as easy as this, without a pattern. Anybody want to make up the directions for this? I see Christmas gifts for my impossible-to-buy-for grandchildren. I could fill the pockets with books and little toys and flashlights. There are so many possibilities!
Very cute and what an inventive idea! I could use one for myself too, but as someone else said only one or two pockets (maybe 3, depending on the size) because I would be among those catching my big toe or entire foot in one of the pockets!!
Well for ALL you ladies with the "BIG TOE" issue how about making a flap with velcro closure?? I am still laughing at the visual I get thinking about catching your big toe :icon_rofl:
