She's a beauty! Hope you & your new baby have lots of quality quilting time together. How sad that someone in their 30's has such bad arthritis. :( May she be blessed by her gift of passing on her beloved machine to someone who will love & enjoy it.

Great find!!! Can't think of a better home for it... and yes, I can feel her pain... I've had a few issues lately with my hands.. and it's an awful thought having to "slow down" my handwork... NEVER!!! (I hope)..:)

She looks wonderful and Pfaffs are such good machines. I hope you enjoy getting to know her!

How wonderful!! It couldn't have gone to a better or nicer person....enjoy it as I know you will. My heart goes out to that poor woman....so young to have to suffer such crippling pain....May God bless her and help her though it. Maybe you should sew her up a beautiful lap quilt to help keep her warm.....

Oh, Klasien, dat is echt een koopje! Wat een prachtige machine. Ik zag hem al op Facebook, maar het verhaal erbij is ook goud waard. Ik heb zelf ook een Pfaff. Ik heb samen met mijn moeder zitten rekenen, maar "onze" Pfaff is al zeker 25 jaar oud. Hij doet het nog steeds goed, maar al die prachtige extra's heb ik natuurlijk niet. Veel plezier met het uitproberen. Vast dat je er prachtige quilts mee zult maken!

Pfaffs are supposed to be really good machines. Congrats!

Nice buy! That poor woman though. I am sure knowing you will create wonderful quilts will make it easier for her though.
