Left Ohio, now in Minnesota
Checking in -- About 1/2 way done with what we call hell week - Festival in Ohio last days were Saturday and Sunday, then packed up 2 shops and 5th wheel, drove for 2 days and all set back down in Minneapolis! Now unpack and hang clothes and OPEN this Sat. *phew*
The rest of this too crazy week will be over Monday! All 4 cats did great, despite us driving through Chicago at 9:30 pm which was still a mad-house. Glad we found a nice Walmart in Madison, WI to park and get some sleep in. Final leg into Minneapolis is done.
I'm excited we are 1 step closer to driving to MO for the October big meeting :-) Ok MSQ, I've put a ton of money to the side for our 4 days of Shopping in October -- Can't WAIT to see the gorgeous fabrics you have for us all
Back online after a needed rest after this weekend, hope everyone is doing Sew well!
Deb and the cats (oh yeah, DH too) :D
Re: Left Ohio, now in Minnesota
I was wondering where you were. Hadn't heard much from you since you landed in Ohio. I didn't realize you were on a selling road trip.

Good to hear from you and that your travels have been good so far.
Re: Left Ohio, now in Minnesota
Did you happen to take US 30 across Indiana?
Re: Left Ohio, now in Minnesota
Hello from Minnesota! I'm in Eagan. What are you selling in MPLS? and where are you staying? If it weren't so crazy here I'd try to get down to meet you. Let me know the next time you're coming through. I live 10 minutes form the MOA but theres' so much more to the cities than that. Beautiful chain of lakes connected by parkways with waterfalls etc. Next time let me know.
Re: Left Ohio, now in Minnesota
I am marking off days on my calendar until you arrive in Hamilton!!!!!
Re: Left Ohio, now in Minnesota
So glad you are having a good trip. I too am wondering what are you selling? Stay safe!
Re: Left Ohio, now in Minnesota
I'm so excited to meet you when we all go to Hamilton! I wondered why I hadn't gotten one of your FUNNY Pm's lately. They are the best! Be safe, have fun. Happy Summer!
Re: Left Ohio, now in Minnesota
Sorry thought everyone knew. My business is WenchesAtWork and we've slowly progressed down to just 2 festivals. My sister is HouseofDra and age DOES really does catch up with everyone!
This one, the Minneapolis Renaissance Festival is the oldest in the Country set on 35 lovely acres near Shakopee, MN where my sister 1st began her sewing journey. The 2nd oldest (and the largest) is located near Tomball, Texas and sits on 55 gorgeous acres! These are all over the country and the one in Missouri worth attending is held in Wentzille. There is also a larger one in the Kansas City area.
Lilly, yes I know Eagan and camped in Prior Lake --We get a few free passes to give out, so please let me know if you plan on going and I can send a couple to Will Call?
Not suppose to be walking much, so I won't be at either of my buildings. DH wanted to camp closer which means Jordon KOA. A little tightly packed, but it's good. I think it will be very quiet when I sew after midnight.
Yes they will sell tons so our cargo trailer is mostly empty until I get to MSQ!!!! 4 lovely days to shop shop SHOP! I'm so excited!
Wallace state park is Electric ONLY for anyone doing the Oct trip in a camper -- No water or Sewer Hookups. With our rig we can do 4 days no problems, but there is a Casino/RV park not horribly far with full hookups... have been googling the entire area, as we will move from Hamilton area to Mexico Missouri for the weekend with the grandson :-) 2 of my Fav things!!! Who would not be excited about that!
Ok getting set up inside here *again* - yes, can't wait to meet you all too :icon_wave:.
Will try to catch up with all the Show and Tell tonight as I see tons of "new" posts!!! whoo hooo
