An easier way to make the Hunter´s star block

When I first looked at it, I was like that's an ok block, kinda cool and then I saw the finished quilt below. I just love it! It always amazes me all of the patterns that what you see in the finished quilt was a secondary pattern that you don't realize just from the one block. Thanks for sharing!
