    Default avoiding the frog

I must be avoiding my un-sewing, strips and charms all cut and bagged for the black/white swap. Now I have no more excuses so a-frogging I will go!

I have spent more time today frogging, than sewing...
It's just that kind of day.
I really need to get off the exclamation point.
It may give people the idea that I'm bright and cheerful all the time....

Frogging just plain stinks! I am excited about the swaps though.

A frog speaks: Ripit ripit AKA ripping out wrong stitches!

God, Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
The stash to make a quilt to help me cope,
A quilt to give to comfort those I love in times of hurt, fear and uncertainty.
And the courage to keep on sewing when life itself seems held together by a single thread of hope.

I learned a new word! I had no idea what it meant either. Well, I guess I went frogging yest. I had a section ~4"x 8" of my baby quilt where the FMQ caused some serious puckers. Fortunately, it was on the border, but still it took a long time to remove the stitches, 1 stitch at a time. I finally got them all removed, pressed that area, & re-did the FMQ. It looks much better now. I finished the binding today, washed it, & it's spread on the floor drying on plastic & beach towels. The baby quilt is headed to S. Mexico for my great nephew's baby boy. Hey, I only learned the term 'frogging' a couple of months back too!
I saw a couple a couple of posts, as some of you did, and was totally perplexed, as well. But it's something we all do, for sure!
May your days be FREE of the FROG!

I was removing some FMQ also, making a full size bed quilt for my sister and I was planning on doing a meander throughout but after getting about 1/3 of it finished I decided it was too much and the quilt was getting stiff, took it out and did a cross hatch and now am much happier with it.
