I am so sorry that you are faced with this very heart breaking decision. We had to let our Cyrus go six months ago and I still cry when I look at his pictures, but I smile inside for the all the years of joy and fun he brought to us. I'm sure that you will do everything to bring him comfort. My prayers are with you.

I found a link to the rainbow bridge story. I hope it's at least a little comfort. My dog, Fred, was best buddies with my husband, who died suddenly at the age of 36. I feel like my husband got to the rainbow bridge first.
