Annika, I was so sad reading your post. It is so hard for us to watch our fur family suffering (though you can't tell by looking at her). I will keep you and your precious pup in my prayers.

So sorry to hear about Mysan. Our pets are our "other" children and our hearts ache when they are not well. Will keep all of you in my thoughts and prayers.

Life may not be the party we hoped for, but while we are here we might as well dance.
What a sweetheart! It is so hard to think about losing one of our fur babies; they really are members of our families. I truly believe that sometimes the greatest act of love for our pets is to let them go. I'm keeping you in my thoughts during this difficult time.

So sorry for you. I have had to put two "best friends" to peace. It's heart breaking. My buddy now ,Penny, will soon be 9 and is showing a lot of arthritis. She is such a loving baby. I just wish God had given them longer lives.

Annika, your dog is beautiful!
Being an advocate for an animal is always hard, I went through this with my dog who was 13 in February and I still get teary eyed when I think of him. I will keep you in my thoughts knowing you have a tough decision to make. Hugs to you.

I am so very sorry... I've been in your position too many times, it is the price we pay for all the joy our fur babies give us. Your Mysan is just beautiful, and I wish you the strength and peace you will need during this time, if her health is as poor as you fear. I'll still keep up hope for good news, though!

God, Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
The stash to make a quilt to help me cope,
A quilt to give to comfort those I love in times of hurt, fear and uncertainty.
And the courage to keep on sewing when life itself seems held together by a single thread of hope.

Life is like a party. You invite a lot of people; some go, some join you, some laugh with you, some didn’t come. But in the end, after the fun, there would be a few who would clean up the mess with you. And most of the time, those were the uninvited ones.

Annika,
Sorry to hear about Mysan. It is tough. Reading this is bringing tears. I just had to let my 14 year old Westie go July 11th and cried for days. Still hard to think about him.
It is a hard decision to make to let them go, but sometimes the best.
Take Care.
