Default T Shirt Quilt or Blanket

I have a friend who's son has several t-shirts from cattle shows, and wants a quilt or blanket made from them. A full to queen size. There is no way I could possibly do one any where in the near future. Any one interested in making it, and what the cost would be?

I feel how you want to help because I came across this before. There is a quilter that does this for a business. I will try and find the site for you

My LAQ makes T-Shirt quilts for people. She charges $440 from start to finish. That's if the buyer has already paid for the sashing fabric.

Etsy has several custom tee shirt quilters. I did run across a blog (can't find it) but at least you know the prices. Some are a little high, geeze.

I just finished a King size T-shirt quilt for a customer. My first so I told him $300.00 should be fine. It is a lot of work and not so easy as everyone says. Price should have been double! But then I think I love what I do, and a quilt is really only worth what someone is willing to pay....So my silver lining is I get paid for spending time doing something I love to do. I would be a basket case if I didn't have a quilting studio. I may do one more T-shirt quilt, but only for my daughter who has a great collection of her high school and club volleyball t-shirts.
