    Talking Thanks Jenny!

I just wanted to publicly say THANK YOU to Jenny Doan and all the wonderful people at M*QC! Jenny and her tutorials have made me fall in love with sewing again. I've ALWAYS loved to hand quilt, but never had the skills or confidence to piece a quilt top. And, binding a quilt would have been totally out of the question. But by using the tutorials and buying the precuts . . . AND that nifty little binding tool . . . I'm actually making and finishing quilts!! I'm on my THIRD lap quilt since May! So, thank you, THANK YOU, THANK YOU Jenny!! You've made me one happy quilter!!

I second everything you say, Jenny is a wonderful teacher and has set many a would-be quilter on the path to producing their own work, without her tutorials I'd still be thinking about trying it instead of doing it! You should post some pictures of your quilts for us to admire!

Thanks Jenny!-photo3.jpgHere are the two that I've finished. My son's girlfriend LOVES the quilt that I made for HIM! He may have to fight her for it And the other was a 'practice run' using some homespun fabrics and some other fabrics from my stash. I'm not crazy about the color combinations. That's why from now on I'm going to use Jenny's pre-cuts so that I know everything will coordinate!

You did great! I agree, I wouldn't be quilting today if I hadn't accidently found Jenny's tutorials.

    Thank you Jenny and M*QC!!
