I'm taking my two grandkids who live near me to Iowa to see their cousins. We're going to have one last blast before school starts next week. Going to the Iowa State Fair, an amusement park and who knows what else. In traveling to Iowa, I always go across Missouri at least part way on Hiway 36. And what town do I pass? HAMILTON! Of course, I will be stopping in to MSQC, my happy place! Hope I can see the new retreat center and see Jenny, Ron and the family. Whoohoo!

My son lives in Winterset, home of FONS AND PORTER! So I will be quilt fabric shopping for sure! Also want to check out the quilt store in Indianola where Genny got her new sewing machine. So much fun!
