I have been wanting to do something to change my ironing layout. The regular ironing board is a pain to work with when pressing full widths of fabric and quilt tops.
Since neither hubby or I are 'handy' I asked a woodworker friend of mine to help me out. Since this is his busy season, he hadn't been able to get around to it, so I was going to take matters into my own hands until I found this at Joann's:
Double Wall Ironing Center & sewing furniture at Joann.com
It is on sale for 1/2 price AND I picked it up at the store so I got 25% off with the coupon that is good through today. With Discount, $105. I couldn't have made this for that price. If I hadn't been able to find it at the store, I was going to order using the $.70 shipping, but I wouldn't have been able to use the coupon.
I'm trying to stay out of hubby's way so that he can finish putting it together so I can get back to quilting. With a few more adjustments, I think my quilting room will finally be complete.
