    Default My surprise project!

    Hi

Yeasterday I went to the Mossby quiltshop. It is about a half hour cardrive away from where I live.
I spend a wonderful hour in the shop and bought my self a early birthday present!

After much thought and consideration I landed on 5 diffrent fabrics and a wonderful pattern!

I got home and gave my self one hour to iron and cut the fabrics and started to sew.
and between sewing and cooking dinner for the kids I managed to make 34 units for my surprise project.

I will try to restrain my self to put up pictures for as loong as I can. :-)

And the dinner was: poched salmon with boiled potatoes and a cold sause made with half of creame fraishe and mayo with a squirt of lemon and some salt and white pepper and lots of fresh dill.

Need I say that there was no left overs?!

I wish you all a great day!

    Sunny greating from Sweden!

God, Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
The stash to make a quilt to help me cope,
A quilt to give to comfort those I love in times of hurt, fear and uncertainty.
And the courage to keep on sewing when life itself seems held together by a single thread of hope.

Annika, to me this sounds a perfect day. Quilt shop, sewing and good food. George cloony would say: what else...

You are amazing! I can just taste that delicious dinner, although I don't think I've ever made that kind of sauce for salmon. It sounds delicious.

It is a very traditional sauce here in sweden for salmon dishes.
    Very tastie!

Haha - you're right - she is lightening fast!
Annika - that sauce sounds amazing! We love salmon in my house, so that might be dinner tonight.

I don't know if I'd rather be over there watching her stitch away, or joining her for dinner. Absolutely LOVE salmon. Maybe tonight....
    Be warned. I am BORED.
    This could be dangerous.

When you get cold just go stand in the corner.
    They are usually 90 degrees.

A giraffe's coffee would be cold by the time it reached the bottom of his throat.
Ever think about that? No? You only think about yourself??
