For swappers the world over I say THANK YOU. I have gotten some blocks in swaps where the size was apparently a generic guideline, not to be followed. That to me is very disappointing since I put effort in my swap works and I would like to use what I get back. So thanks for being conscientious.

Just to be clear, my blocks weren't an inch too small! Some that I got were. I was very sure to make mine the right size. Just sayin'.

Hehe, I think I got some of those blocks too. I added sashing to make them bigger rather than trim the others down. Didn't want to lose points on those. I tend to err on the blocks a little bit too big when doing swaps, just to be safe and I won't square swap blocks before I send them. It gives the receiver a little extra wiggle room if they need it.

Oh, I guess I misread. Sorry about that. Still glad you made yours the right size. Amazing how many people won't. I decided that I cut my off-blocks into circles - then it doesn't matter what the edges look like. I use Cheryl Phillips' circle ruler to cut mine - it works like a charm.
