There is a small quilt show in my area tomorrow and Saturday. On the schedule, bed turning at 1pm. What does this mean, I've never been to a show before. DD and I will be going Saturday.

"A "Bed Turning" is a way of introducing quilters and non-quilters to the beauty of antique or unique quilts in an interesting and different way.
Most appropriately presented at a quilt show or a guild meeting, a bed is brought in and quilts are placed on the bed. As each quilt is turned and held up for the audience, I describe the quilt, date the quilt, and give the story of the quilt. "

Thanks! We'll definitely arrange to be there in time to see these quilts, I love things that have stories or a history attached to them.
I had never heard of this before!
Thanks Terri for asking...and Thanks Karen for the answer!
