We went to M*QC

Monday we went to M*QC!!!!! We had a wonderful time. We got to meet Jenny, Ron, Natalie and Alan. Everyone is so nice and welcoming. We were so fortunate to be able to visit with them for quite some time. Jenny and Natalie were preparing for a new tutorial and they visited and told stories. Jenny is funny and warm and just the nicest person. Natalie is so sweet and helpful. Ron is like talking to your favorite brother. He took us on a tour of the retreat center and it is going to be quite the place. I can’t wait to see it in October! Alan is so very handsome with a gorgeous smile. The whole family is “the real deal”.

The staff is so friendly and although they were very busy, they welcomed us and visited with us like we were old friends. When we entered the store one of the sweet girls at the front (I didn’t get her name) asked if we watch the tutorials and of course the answer was Yes. She said well you are in luck because Jenny is here in her studio, let me take you back and introduce you to her. I couldn’t wait to meet her – what fun!

The store is full of beautiful fabrics. It was so great to see all the quilts and other things that we have seen Jenny and Natalie make on their tutorials.

Upon leaving, my husband said, ” I’m so glad we went and I enjoyed it so much.” Me too! I can’t wait to go back.

Yep---they are the real deal! I have never heard anyone not repeat the exact same things upon their visits! I am so happy that you had a great time! Did you get some new "pretties"? Show them, please!

Shirley, you lucky Girl! I hope one day I will visit Jenny and her staff also. But I know, that it will take years until I can take a Long enough vacation to go to the States .... until then I am living from your reports

Lucky, lucky you! My DH does not share my new passion for quilting, he thinks it takes me away from HIM. So I don't see a trip for me any time in the near future. How cool was that, that your DH loved it too?!

Oh yes! My husband always likes to go to the quilt shops. He helps me design some quilts, gives me ideas and is always the first one to mention when we travel - "check and see if they have a quilt shop". He has built my quilt racks, design wall, quilt curio cabinet and a quilt curio coffee table. He also built me a 24 ' by 22' gorgeous quilt room. He is talented and a keeper! I will post my purchases later. Thanks everyone!

Sounds like you had a great time and also sounds like your hubby is definitely a keeper....to date Steve is planning on going with me in October but that can be subject to change due to his job; he knows I plan on going with or without him if at all possible.....lots of stuff going on but I am counting on going...only two months away now!
