Re: could not wait
When I had mine for over two weeks I wasn't allowed to lift anything heavier than a tea cup and my husband kept a very close eye on me the entire two weeks...."Honey, that's heavier than a tea cup; put it down NOW!!!".....Still miss that man..he was a keeper!

Re: could not wait
Sleep when your body wants you to sleep. You really need it. I find that if my body is telling me to sleep I better listen. As for waiting for the magazine, I think it is worth it.

Re: could not wait
Stacey, listen to your quilting sisters. They only want what's best for you. Sleep and rest is the best medicine to healing quickly. I know, it's boring, then download a book and read, lol. But rest. Don't want to cause any relapses or damage. God bless

Re: could not wait
Stacey, waiting to heal can be, as you know, monotonous. (But a very necessary evil!!!) So grab yourself some graph paper, color pencils and play around making a quilt design. That will help eat up some hours as you wait for your new magazine to arrive. :icon_hug:

Re: could not wait
Can't think of a better use of your healing time.....reading, drawing up new graphs of quilt dreams, resting, sleeping, and even waiting on that new quilt magazine. Take care of you and enjoy this time, the best way that you can!
