I took the plunge!
After being nagged and bothered by Mr Daisy and my daughter about 'doing' country shows ect, today I finally gave in and booked a chalet for the Oxford Castle Christmas market! My Chalet is 9 feet wide x 7 1/2 feet deep, has three sides and a roof and I am sure will be totally FREEZING lol. The market is set in the ancient Castle in Oxford, in the old prison yard lol. there will be mulled wine and entertainment going on all day so hopefully that will put the crowds in a buying mood eh? My 2 days are the 22nd and 23rd of November 11am to 8pm so from now until then I must make stock.
Lets hope I don't come home with everything I make!! EEEEEEK.
The work involved and the fear I would not sell anything (how embarrassing ) has always put me off. I worry I won't be well enough too, but I have been promised that 'all hands will be on deck' to man the stall and that I will have a comfy seat..........so ok......here goes, wish me luck.

You must tell us what "stock" you will be making. Your chalet will be by far the best. So happy for you.

Oh, dress Seamus up as a little court jester and take him along. He'll be sure to bring in some customers.

Good for you! Your booth is going to be charming -- I know this from seeing the work you share with us here on the forum. There is absolutely no way that you'll be returning home with everything your brought.
Please tell us what you'll be making for your chalet!

I bet that you sell out! You will have such a wonderful time!
Good luck and show us pictures!

God, Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
The stash to make a quilt to help me cope,
A quilt to give to comfort those I love in times of hurt, fear and uncertainty.
And the courage to keep on sewing when life itself seems held together by a single thread of hope.

How wonderful! I wish you lots of sales and empty arms coming home. Not empty purse, just empty arms. Good luck to you!!

Life may not be the party we hoped for, but while we are here we might as well dance.
