Congrats on your new machine. As for spending money I have to agree you sometimes get what you pay for. Hubby bought me my singer Embroidery machine 5 yrs ago for around $1500 and I truly love it. I love the machine, all it's stiches and software. I don't have a big hoop or continuous hoop ability. So I love my machine and will think hard about the next embroidery machine a few years down the line.

I have that machine and love it. Go take the lessons, you will still need to refresh with the book later some.....but it will be worth the time to take in the lessons, too. I know I learned a lot with mine! Enjoy your new baby!
Could NOT name mine Jim or Jimmy....that's the name of the guy I dated (quite seriously) before I met my DH. So that would not work! lol Have always wondered why machines, esp cars are a she!?! Men, I guess. :icon_happy:
