Jean - those are gorgeous. I have some in my yard that have literally become trees, mostly because I would never let my DH prune them. Everyone else's crepe myrtles have been and still are in bloom. Mine never bloom before mid August. Not sure why that happens. We get occasional freezes here but it has not harmed my crepe myrtles. Yours are truly beautiful. Enjoy them while they last!!
these always bloomed late in summer also, but not this year. I guess it is just some quirk of nature, but I'll take it!
