Default Felling a bit sorry for my self

    Hi

This is my third day back at work and my thumb that has been exellent during my vacation is now a bit swollen again.

It seams that my thumb is allergic against my work! :-(

Sorry for the selfpitty post but I needed to vent a little

    Annika

The stash to make a quilt to help me cope,
A quilt to give to comfort those I love in times of hurt, fear and uncertainty.
And the courage to keep on sewing when life itself seems held together by a single thread of hope.

    Dear Annika,

I can understand, that sometimes beeing self pitty is the best you can do. but I have an idea for your thumb. It is said in your Name, what could help your thumb: Arnica mountain. Do you know it? It is a mountain flower and the solution of Arnica mountain (lat.: Arnica montana) helps with all swellings, injury without open wounds, overtraining of muscles and articulations ... maybe you can get a Dilution in your pharmacy and make a compresse with it. You cannot do anything wrong with it, except you have an Allergie on Arnica. If you have any further question, please let me know

My daughter swears by Arnica . . .
    Be warned. I am BORED.
    This could be dangerous.

When you get cold just go stand in the corner.
    They are usually 90 degrees.

A giraffe's coffee would be cold by the time it reached the bottom of his throat.
Ever think about that? No? You only think about yourself??

My sister swears by it too. She takes the homeopathic pills. I have it in cream form. Have you tried anti-inflammatory drugs? If this is a repetitive motion issue, you may need to find a brace that protects your thumb. Hope you feel better soon.

I would trust Renate and give her suggestion a try. I really hope it feels better soon.

Annika, I'm sorry you have to be back at work again too although the alternative of not having a job to go to would also be bad. I think your thumb is just doing it's bit to protest, in support of your mind's wish to still be on holiday!

I have tried antiinflammatory drugs and they did not help much and I have a brace that works much better. I was almost well during my vacation, No swolleness or pain even thou I did households choirs and sewing..

But as soon as I started to work and sign my signature and writing it started to act up again.

I will look in to this Arnica and see if that can help

Thank you all for caring !

    Hugs

    Annika
