What color is your quilting/sewing room?

I just painted my small sewing room a soft yellow in June. I love it!! The color helps me feel happy every time I'm in there.

Pale pink with lacey sheer curtains. Wood floors make it easy for me to roll my chair from machine to cutting table.

My whole house is painted in pale yellow and I hate it; maybe it's the shade, I can't really describe. Everything always has this yucky yellow glow. I plan on having it painted next year. I can hardly stand it. Blah. Luckily, the only room in the house not this color is my sewing room. It's I guess ivory with white trim and ivory/white tile floors.

Mine is mint green and I don't like it one bit. I painted it last October...not sure what I was thinking. I will re do it this winter and I was thinking lavender but just read that it is a depressing color. Our master bedroom is a soft butter yellow and I love it. I may just use that in my sewing room too.

lavender, pink, yellow and all those all blotched together with a sponge....

My actual sewing oom is a pale lavender, which works very well... It doesn't compete with fabric colors.

However.... I gave that oom to my husband.... He has his oxygen compressor back there, as well as a TV, and the only chair he is omfortable in... He is in end stage COPD.... So I was happy to see him comfortable.

Presently, I have set up shop in the dining room, which is just off the kitchen. Now I can indulge in my two fav hobbies.. bread baking and quilting at the same time, AND do the laundry... The walls are a sort of taupe, I think. Not really sure what to call it....

Mine's Baby Blue. I love it, so calming.

I have yellow walls. I find them to be very cheerful & happy. I have a white wicker chair & smaller wicker shelf unit too. The desk & sewing table are white. I have various print fabric in the room and love it. I had a semi-bright pink in our old house. I thought it would nice & feminine but it actually drove me crazy. I grew tired of it very fast.

How did I not post here before? Well, to everyone's surprise, my sewing room has lots of PINK lol The walls are a light tan/beige but I have a pink roller blind, pink and white paper lanterns, a pink ironing board, lots of little pink accessories, and a big pink Eeyore panel hanging on the wall (still not quilted or finished, just the panel). I will eventually accessorize with more pink, but for now that's all I have. Plus there are lots of monkeys in there, and they're all kinds of different colours! So I guess my main accent colour would be pink, but it's really anything goes in there, as long as it brings a smile to my face :D
