    LOL Sounds like my DD! I love the friendship braid also, but Lilly's suggestion of giving her 3 or 4 to choose from is the best idea. She will be extremely excited to pick her own design. Good Luck.

    Thanks for all the suggestions, I gave her a choice of 3 Jeans, rail fence/diamonds, friendship braid, she responded within minutes, friendship braid it will be, wants brown sashing and borders-she has a chocolate lab who sheds terribly and wants to hide the hairs.

    I have no ideas on patterns, I just think her note was too sweet, and awesome she wants you to make her something special!
