Oh, shoot me too!
And here I thought I had no life.....crikey!
Not in my lifetime. It was cute though.
Ha, I thought it was cool enough to try to find out where to get the stamps. I mean, that is the only way I'd attempt something that small. It has printed seam lines. Well, the etsy shop that sells them is on vacation, so I couldn't even find a price, except shipping from the Netherlands is like $22.00, so no telling what the stamps are.
Awww....come on Karen, you can figure it out all by yourself!
Karen can do anything!!!

I love it! I may have to do this, I have tons of scraps and love the house block......thanks for the link.
I love the idea of these, if my eyes were 40 years younger I'd be ordering them with no hesitation!
Thanks, Susan! What is it about house quilts? They are so wonderful. These tiny ones are darling and stamping the pattern onto the fabric is such a clever idea. I'm getting ready to move to the Netherlands. I might have to order a set once there. What a fun way to use up scraps. I save lots of scraps but so far I haven't really come up with a project for using them. This could actually be a fun hand-sewing project since it's small. Food for thought. I have to say, though, a paper-piecing pattern might work well too. I need to revisit that site since I didn't catch how large the individual pieces are. Sounds like the whole house block is only a bit over 2". I don't know if I could handle something quite that small.
I took another look and the stamp fits on a charm square. I'm assuming the houses are under 3" in size. That's really teeny.
I sure as heck would make a quilt but would love to make an insert for a pillow or small wall hanging.
Going to ask my folks to order it for me in Holland and send it with the next food/magazine package. Hehe
Anyone interested can PM me and we can figure out Euro/US $ and PayPal it to me to purchase the stamp. I'll bill you for the First Class plus DC when I ship it to you. :)

I love them - but no time for them now. I especially like the one with the black cat in the window - too cute!
Sigh...maybe someday.
I think they are adorable but I can't even imagine tackling something that small. Maybe if i learned paper piecing I could make ONE house for a Christmas ornament or something, but that's all. Definitely gave me a headache just looking at it! WOW that is some serious dedication.
My husband said this is "Extreme Quilting" ! LOL
Susan
Uhhh, no thank you! The quilts are cute, but no way I would attempt it!
They would make nice Christmas ornaments. But a whole quilt would be:icon_crazy:
I agree. Did you notice most of the gals pictured with their tiny house quilts are pretty young.
Those little houses would take up too much of my time as I hate to work with very small pieces. Since my scrap stash is much to big I've been forcing myself to discard any scraps smaller than
2 1/2"s. No matter how many scrappy string blocks I make the scrap stash never seems to go down.
These quilts are amazing! How awesome it must be to see one in person.

Is that the one you are talking about ordering? I can't figure out how much the price is, can tell I don't use etsy much.
Love it but no more desire to do that then those tiny hexies.
To the US $21.60
Within Holland it's $10.40 - That's about 8 Euros. Sent an email to see what the price would be to get multiples send to one address in Amsterdam - She's on vacation, doesn't say when she'll be back.
You have to mount it yourself on a wood block or use an acrylic, so they don't weigh anything to ship here with the other stuff my folks send me.
I just think it would be cute to make with into pillows/wall art/pin cushions - small pieces. Have Dutch fabric that would be fun to use.
LOL Next thing I'll read is "look in the window in that wee bitty house - did you see the wee bitty sewing machine??"
Actually, the little houses are cute - a mug rug I can see. Just give me two months to do it. Oh, wait, better make it three. It took me about 7 weeks to make a quilt for my grandson. Just finished last night and will post photos tomorrow. Need a day off to adjust my eyes.
I just don't see me making a whole quilt of little houses unless someone is holding a gun to my head. No volunteers, please... :o
But think about it, how cute would a house quilt made Jenny style be with a border of tiny houses?
Adorable!! I love this look! I have tons of tiny scraps.....it is the time that I lack, for now!
I think it is crazy cute and crazy insain! You all go for it if you dare, but as for me, I will strive to keep the bits of my sanity that my houseful of teenaged/young adult kids have left for me! :icon_bigsmile:
Gerri, I'm thinking of fussy cutting the windows...and yes a sewing machine was one of them along with a typewriter and painting easel. Things I like to do or objects I love! :)
A whole quilt! I'm with ya GF! Not even with a gun to my head, now if Sheldon from Big Bang Theory commissioned one for Big Bucks! I would...NOT...have enough patience to complete one. I get bored real quick. lol
Oh, Karen - it is just like you to make sense and a row of houses would be cute provided it isn't a king sized quilt. One would think building small homes would be easier unless you have clumsy fingers like moi then it can be excruciating.
I have to admit it is adorable but I still ain't doing it!!! :D
