    Default Swedish Longarmquilter!!

    Hi

To day my elder sister that also is a quilter visit me and we went to the quiltshop and bougth some fabrics!!

Need I say it was fun ?!

Then we went home to me and surf quiltsites and looked at echothers work!

    She found this site.

    Diane's Quilting Service

It is a longarmquilter that is living here in sweden but she is from USA!

    She takes orders!

I am seriosly thinking to ship my Big Star Quilt to her to be quilted beacuse this one is a monster of a quilt in size when I am done with it.!

It is not so expensive as I first thought. Around 1500 swedish crona. About 227.53 dollars-

I will let you know when and if I send a quilt her way!

    Annika

The stash to make a quilt to help me cope,

And the courage to keep on sewing when life itself seems held together by a single thread of hope.

Life is like a party. You invite a lot of people; some go, some join you, some laugh with you, some didn’t come. But in the end, after the fun, there would be a few who would clean up the mess with you. And most of the time, those were the uninvited ones.

How nice Annika!! Great to have a sister quilter, hm... Mine isn't into it but maybe I could persuade her.

I've seen some Swedish longarm quilters online and I met a couple at the Syfestival. I didn't know you were looking for one. I found them expensive too, but considering the time, effort and money that goes into making the top, it can be worth it. Maybe trade her for proofing her page? The Swedish looks like she uses google translate.

Charlott at Mossby has a longarm, but I've not see her use it. I've no idea how often she does, if she's any good or if she takes orders. Might be worth finding out though.

I have already asked Charlotte and she is not taking any orders for longarmquilting.

I started to think about it to day.. My Big Star Quilt is gonna be a monster size quilt and I am not looking forward to quilt it on my little machin. I only have about 6" throat space and that is not much.
So it might be worth it for just this one quilt.

That's a good price for a big quilt. The going rate here for a king size is around €300 which is roughly on a good day is $400. Love to see how it gets quilted I have a twin size one to quilt, have no idea how I'm going to quilt it.
