Joann's Coupon Commotion

I don't know if it was just a promotion at my local Joann's, but yesterday they told me to use all the coupons I had at the register. Usually, they only allow you to use your 50% off coupons on reg. priced merchandise and on one item. They allowed me to use all four of my 50% off coupons, including sale fabrics. Good sale on batting too.

Coupons are good through the 20th. I may go back for more batting.

My local one always scans everything i have "just in case". My understanding is, as long they are from different sources -newspaper, flyer, phone etc- they will accept them. you can't double dip, like take a % off total on top of another coupon.

Wow, my local store seems to have an army of coupon police! I understand the double dip thing, but they rarely allow multiple coupons unless the items are totally different categories. That's why I was so surprised that I could use four 50% off coupons on sale fabrics.

Because it is a coupon commotion they will let you use all of them during the same transaction. As long as the coupons don't have the same UPC on them you can always use more then one. If you look online you can print 4, 50%off coupons and use them in the same transaction. If you have a smartphone and use thier app there are 2 there as well. The nice thing about the phone app is that you can reuse your coupons because they just scan your phone! Tey cannot take your coupon so you can go back day after day using the same coupon until it expires!!! I do it all the time.

My husband has the same app on his phone, so we split up our haul and use two checkouts to get as much saving (when we have a % off highest price item coupons)

I bought some fabric at Joanns last week and forgot my phone. The clerk took 50% because I told him I had a coupon for it!

Well, I will just have to go try that out, my local Joanns usually only lets me take ONE coupon and my teacher discount.
