I have walked in and out of the store several times to use my coupons and of course they know what I am doing and why but never say a word to me about it!

Everything I needed (or wanted) was on sale so I didn't get to use my coupons. Maybe next time.

Usually I can only use one coupon per visit.
The other day I had a fist full of 50% off coupons, all good for this week and for regular priced items. Since it was a special sale week cashier said I could use as many coupons as I had on regular priced items. Got to use only 2 as all the other fabrics I chose were on sale, they were mostly 40% off so that wasn't bad.
Really hoped to get 50% off on everything as the fabrics are for our Project Pillowcases Program. We have a budget of $200 per year from our guild and it doesn't go very far as we usually sew up and distribute about 1,000 pillowcases a year. We depend heavily on donations of cash and fabric from guild members, family and friends to meet our annual goal. Our new guild president is part of our regular Pillowcase Team so I'm hoping for her support in getting our budget increased to $300 for next year. We didn't get an increase this year because all of our money wasn't spent in time for budget requests and discussions in October. Well, this year I made sure all funds would be spent early as we had $125 remaining and I spent it all at Joann's the other day.

I managed to use four yesterday. The wide backing was regular price and a couple of notions I bought were, also. I bought a tri recs tool but it was 50% so no coupon. They quit carrying the Hobbs 80/20 at my J store so I ended up ordering some online today. I seem to go through it pretty quickly so I ordered 6 Queen ones which should hold me for the rest of the year.![]()
I had 7 50% off coupons and used every one of them today!
I was at Joann's the other day, had the four 50% off coupons, but the only thing I could get that was not on sale were some buttons! The way they act regarding coupons, you would think the money a customer saved came out of their paychecks! There is NO WAY they would allow the use of coupons on sale items, let alone using multiple coupons. I ENVY YOU GALS WHO GET GREAT DEALS AT JOANNS!
I have had the same experience in the Tyngsboro and Billerica stores. You can use as many coupons as you want as long as they have different codes on them. Some cashiers give them back to you and some don't. My daughter went there twice this week for me. On Tuesday to get 2 items and they kept the 2, 50% off coupons. Today she went for Kona Black, rotary blades and 6 inch square and they gave her back 3, 50% off coupons. Luck of the draw with my 2 stores.

Claire, Did you order the Hobbs 80/20 from Joanna's online?
I know they discontinued it in their stores, really don't care for the brand they replaced Hobbs with. I prefer the Hobbs and have picked it up on trips to Lancaster, PA or ordered from Continuing Threads.
I got Hobbs 80/20 off the the big roll (not pre-packaged) on my last trip to Joann a couple weeks ago. Does not appear to be discontinued here in NC, at least not yet!

No, I ordered from Hancocks of Paducah. Their regular price was about 40% off what Joanne was charging for their product that I don't think is nearly as nice.
I think Joanne charges a lot at their regular pricing so they can cut everything to 50% off or so you can use a coupon and the prices are in line with what other places charge regular price.
In the quilting section of J they had 75 bent pins for around $13 [that was all half off the price] and in another section of the store they had some pin packages with 40 same size bent pins for $4, not on sale. I bought two smaller packages and used a coupon on each.![]()
