Yeah!!! I used the rit dye to spot paint the bleached spots. It looks so much better!

Nice job!!!
Great news - Annie
You are a brainiac! Congrats to you!
Wow! That worked great! Good save!!
What a huge improvement!
Wow, how the heck did you spot dye without it going onto the other side? Yes, you are a genius! Looks great. Glad you could save it.
Super cute, that is genius. Think you could do a little tutorial to teach the rest of us?!
I wet my paintbrush with plain water and barely touched the quilt back, then dipped my paintbrush into the diluted due and painted it into the bleached spots. I made sure not to soak it. I just barely touched it to the fabric. I let it dry before laundering it again (the dye looked a little dark but lightened up slightly when I laundered)
What a great save! Congrats!
You did a great job of matching the color! What a great save!

I think you deserve an award for "best recovery"!!! Great job.
Awesome job....one time my sister was brushing her teeth in a hot pink shirt....you guessed it...she got to work and saw it in the mirror in the ladies room....couldn't figure it out right away but she covered it up with ......hot pink highlighters....or Sharpies....couldn't even tell...noticed later that her toothpaste was for bleaching the teeth!
