I have this same fabric and bought the orange honeycomb fabric for a first border and the larger floral for another border. It is all sitting on a shelf waiting patiently for now but I guess mine will be orange.

Well, well, well. I guess I am a combo person. My first thought? A small aqua followed by the orange. BUT I'm an orange kinda person. I do agree with Bubby - whatever you use for the border will make it that color quilt . . .
    Be warned. I am BORED.
    This could be dangerous.

When you get cold just go stand in the corner.
    They are usually 90 degrees.

A giraffe's coffee would be cold by the time it reached the bottom of his throat.
Ever think about that? No? You only think about yourself??

it looks great..how about a small yellow then a orange?
These things, I warmly wish for you-
Someone to love, some work to do,
    A bit'o sun, a bit'o cheer.
And a guardian angel always near.

I was thinking a small orange and then a large of whatever your favorite print is from that line.

My first instinct would be to do the borders with the dark orange or red, like many before me suggested. The beauty of the double slice pattern is if you do mistakingly sew pieces in the wrong direction,it might not be too noticeable( to most people, you will always be your own worst critic-LOL!) Your quilt looks lovely.

I love the colours in this design, it is very much like Ticklish.
I would use Orange as the border, but its whatever you prefer, its your quilt.
Please post a photo when you have finished.

I totally agree. What color do YOU like?

    Purple!!

Ok - I'm sorry, that is my knee-jerk reaction to any "what color?" question, but actually looking at the fabrics there, I really like the orange too. Which surprises me. I'm not really an "orange" kinda girl. It just seems like a nice balance between the pale pinks & yellows and the slightly darker blues.
