this is how i feel at the end
Ohhhhhhhhh yes. I know that feeling oh too well.
SO TRUE!!!! That's why I'm planning the next one before I'm 1/2 way through.!!!
Since I can't keep just one project at a time, I never get this feeling. Maybe I need to finish up all of my current projects before starting another....but there are SO many already in my head...
I wish it was true - but some tailoring, another wedding (veil and FG dress plus present) will keep me busy. Also weeding and wanting to be outside.
I've been feeling just like that (in fact, I think that's a picture of me) and it has nothing to do with quilting . . .
lol SO CUTE AND SO TRUE
LOL! I do get that feeling just a little bit-but since I also sew clothing and dance costumes and dabble in embroidery-my list of projects to plan, work on and finish is endless. I will say that working on quilts provides me with gratification in a fairly quick manner.
I feel your pain! I just finished the one I was working on today and now I'm going a little stir crazy. I sorted through all my extra scraps to see if I could come up with anything to start!
LOL Love it but I felt that way this afternoon with another damp, overcast, muggy, rainy, warm day. UGH! Oh well, always tomorrow to look forward to.:icon_bigsmile:
Lets see, packing, multiple job applications, a few baby quilts to be finished before the babies are born, and most importantly, finishing college. I have 5 weeks left of this part of my life - I've been in formal education, somehow, for about 23 of my 31 years - and its ending, forever.
Same here is SC.....hubby was so desperate to get the grass cut (before it turns into a rain forest AGAIN!) that he cut it while it was sprinkling rain yesterday....he also did the weed eating & used to blower to clean up everything. As much as I dislike the HOT summer days...I am so ready for some sunshine!
I don't have that problem. I always have more than one project going all the time, so I just jump to another one to finish. Sometimes I even start something new. I wish I was a fast finisher.
I never feel like that cuz I always have another PICU quilt that I need to do. Don't know how I would feel though if not for the PICU quilts. Probably very sad.
When I finish a quilting project and I am really pleased with it, I certainly hit that low. Thank Hannah for Netflix. That keeps me company while I dig out of the hole.
