    Default Cute Fabric...but...

I bought this fabric awhile back because it's cute. The fabric (after straightening) will be about 18"square. The one with the big print could be fussy cut into 5" sq. but there is only 6 of them. The one with the blue background, if cut into 5" sq. would be 9 sq. that would be the same for the yellow one. To make squares out of the green one they would need to be 3.5" to keep the bear in the center and would require more bears. If I use the whole piece w/o cutting, it would need huge boarders to make a baby quilt. So, dear quilting friends, can you figure out a way to use this???

Add a lot of solid colors to it and mix it up.

I would add some solids to it. Maybe use the large print whole as the center with prints and solids around it

I am not very good at this kind of thing either, but I would also add some solids.

How about a D9P? Put the solids in the (+) part of the block and the prints in the corner part of the block.

That would be my suggestion. Use white for the plus part, the prints in the corners and a colored block in the center. Makes a cute pattern.

IMHO i would not fussy cut the ones with the small bears. I would mix in some solids and make a D9P with the ones of small bears. I would then take the one with the bear scene and go ahead and fussy cut those and make them block on their own to mix in with the quilt, like on a border or corner stones. IMHO.
