    Default My New Girls

    My New Girls-dottieandolive.jpg

If you haven't seen our new Scotty girls in the morning thread, here they are: Miss Dottie (almost 6) and Olive (4).
Dottie (the larger one) is the show dog...she's a sweetie but a little aloof. Olive is all love and wiggles and acts more like a little poodle than a Scottie most of the time. She's sweet to the bone and totally social.

We're going through a little period of adjustment, which is normal. They will be with us for several months and there's a possibility that Dottie may be here permanently. Olive belongs to my DGD and I'm certain she will go back to her. Dottie belongs to my DD and her life and career are spinning right now...so who knows. For now we love them and enjoy them tremendously.

I think I was born to be a Scotty Mom! Jeff's in doggie heaven, too! Thanks for looking!!

Too cute for words. Hope Dottie is settling in a bit better now. Give them hugs!!
    Be warned. I am BORED.
    This could be dangerous.

When you get cold just go stand in the corner.
    They are usually 90 degrees.

A giraffe's coffee would be cold by the time it reached the bottom of his throat.
Ever think about that? No? You only think about yourself??

That little pair of Scotties is just too cute! I know you two are the best grandparents ever, especially for Scotties.

I am going to be a foster gramma to two dogs starting tomorrow. Coal and Bella will come to live with me for about a month or more, Coal is a big exuberant mostly Lab mix, he could knock you over with his enthusiastic greetings, and the other is a beautiful white boxer lady. She is somewhat skittish, but a lover once she gets to know you. I do not know how my 16 year old Cat Al will react to this intrusion onto his domain, hope no blood is shed in the negotiations for personal space!

What cuties!!! My sister & her late husband had nothing but Scotties....first there was Mac, then Tara and lastly Heidi. All were very sweet loving dogs. Now that she has remarried....her hubby came with a Sheltie. Beautiful dog...he passed a few months ago from a kidney problem that he had for a few yrs (he was 14). But before sweet Woofy passed, they got him a playmate, a Sheltie puppy named Tripp. But I believe my sisters first love is still Scotties!
