That does make a lot of sense....don't fight the way you naturally want to do something, just adapt to do it in the direction that "feels" right for you, whichever way that is for you. Helps a lot - I have watched a ton of quilting videos and some of them look to me like they are going backwards all of the time - they must be counter clockwise circle drawers and I am a clockwise kind of girl.

Makes great sense! Being a lefty and for most of my life having things look "backwards" it's not always easy to adjust. When I started elementary school (maybe even nursery school when my little sis was born) there was no such thing available as left handed scissors, so I had to adapt and learn to cut right handed, so that's what I have done all of my life. The very brief time that I played softball for our church as a teen (one season) I batted & caught left handed....thanks to having a lefty for a big brother. But I fine that I have a tendency when rotary cutting to switch back & forth from right to left (hand) based on the way the fabric is laying and not wanting to turn the fabric and it seems that it would be (feel) wrong if I turned it....does that make any sense. I have always considered myself "math minded" so that would be the analytical side, and I have always been sort of artsy/crafty so that would be the creative side. So in conclusion....I don't think my brain knows what it wants to do!!!

Being a LEFTY I know that we are the only ones in our RIGHT mind!!!!
    Be warned. I am BORED.
    This could be dangerous.

When you get cold just go stand in the corner.
    They are usually 90 degrees.

A giraffe's coffee would be cold by the time it reached the bottom of his throat.
Ever think about that? No? You only think about yourself??

Having a child that is totally ambidextrous and then finding out as a teen that he is left brained has made me quite interested in this subject. Thanks for sharing.

Being a left handed person myself, I have to agree w/you that we are in our right of minds!!! When I was a child, they had left handed scissors, but I did not like them, so turned the right handed ones upside down. I was taught to play baseball (the batting part) right handed, but caught and threw left handed. My sister that is just older than me is also left handed, so we shared mitts...the other three are all right handers.

:-) My dear husband calls me "wrong handed"....gotta love him. He and all four of our sons are right handed, so it was a definite challenge to teach them to tie their shoes! I always remind DH that I am the one in my RIGHT mind! lol

I am left handed for writing and bowling...played baseball either hand....and use both hands when cutting....write with left hand but hold pen like a right hander....make sense?
