    I have used various threads including the ultra cheapo's from e bay and ordinary weight sewing cotton for free standing lace.

    Marathon is one I really like, great colour range and sews beautifully.

    I did have a sewing machine which absolutely hated mettalic thread...........just refused to sew with it. My 12000 does not seem to mind what you use, so far that is.

    I use Madeira or Robison Anton. My machines don't care for the coats either.

    I only use Isacord because I think it looks the best.
    Having fun with the variegated threads.
    Getting ready to make a quilt with Patternista line and made this for fun today.
    My DD 's name is Maggie.
