    and you could probably draw a nine degree paper template and just put a normal ruler over the lines of the paper template to cut the fabric

    The only thing I can suggest is just keep looking through pinterest at other beautiful quilts.........until the next "shiny object" catches your attention! That will help you forget the first "shiny object".

    It's a wedge shaped ruler in 9 degrees angles....

    9 Degree Circle Wedge Ruler - 25" - Doheny Publications

    The 10 degree ruler is 22.5 inches long, 1 inch wide at narrow end and 4 7/8 wide at bottom edge. these measurments include the 1/4 inch seam.

    I bit the bullet an ordered the ruler and the pattern..just couldn't resist and hubby said *go for it*
