I tried it out today and it was awesome...I will never do it the other way again......just remember when you do the measurement thing to use "finished size measurement"...very important and I have repeated the numbers so often they must be ingraved in my brain by now.

I've seen a similar tutorial before, but I LOVE that block! Definitely adding to the bucket list :D

I finally got a chance to watch this and can't wait to try it out!! Unfortunately, someone else who lives in this house thinks I have to spend my day off texturing instead of sewing!!

I am so sorry, Bubba. Have you suggested to him that a nice kitty could replace him and wouldn't mind if you sewed all day?LOL
