My husband has been trying to get me to upgrade for a couple of months. I've been reading all the posts about machines and researching as much as possible. I had signed up with the Sewing & Vacuum Warehouse about a month ago to receive emails and two days ago I received an email that they were having a sale on several different machines including Janomes.

Long story short (I know, I have a hard time making long stories short) I just came home with a brand new Janome Memory Craft 7700 QCP. I am way beyond excited. I looked at the 8900 and was sorely tempted but I couldn't justify paying the price difference (it was not on sale). The 8900 was $4,000.00 and the sale on the 7700 was $1,799.00. They do all the servicing and repairs on site. There are great reviews online about this dealer so I felt very, very comfortable. And, they are only 3 miles from me!

So, now I need to sit down with my new machine and start the learning curve. Oh, yeah, and give her a name...

Thanks for listening to my babbling. Woo-hoo, I am sooo excited. Oh, yeah, I already said that...
