absolutly dear Iris, have a nice summer weekend

I think it would be cute to make it with actual shoe sizes - say baby to Dad, and turn it into a wall hanging. Great way to honor the family, and then years later look back and say "I was that small?"

We called them thongs growing up (in Ohio)... I have no idea when I started calling them flip flops, but I never hear them called thongs anymore.

I think things changed when some naughty person created the nasty "Thong" that cuts you in half and exposes your backside to all the world. I use to call them thongs too but it's flip-flops for me now. :0 lol.

LOL! My old boss' wife was taking her kids and their friends to the pool one day and said "hold on, let me go grab my thongs." They about died thinking she was going to wear a thong to the pool.
