variegated quilting threads

Does anyone have a source to get variegated quilting threads at a reasonable price I would like either a variety pack or individual spools. Not with a mega ton of yardage on it as I use it to enhance projects and don't need a 1000 yard spool. don't want to pay 10 or 12 bucks a spool either. I was thinking something with 250 to 500 yards on it. TIA

I've ordered Sulky variegated thread from Joann's when it was on sale at 50% off and been happy with it. In the quilt stores the spools seem to be $8 to $10 or so and that's more than I want to pay. What I order are Sulky Blendables and they have many to choose from, you just have to watch for thread sales, which Joann's seems to have every other week.

Someone steered me to superior threads when I was looking for metallic thread. I ended up getting glitter thread and the stuff was awesome! All different spool sizes too.

I love superior threads I use the king tut line when I really need alot for something big, the quality is superior for sure but wasn't looking to spend quite that much even the 500yd spools are 7.99 plus shipping. I will have to wait and watch for a sale at joanns I guess. I wish someone would do a variety pack of say 10 for x amount of dollars and let you pick the colors you wanted. and still get a bargain price

I kike the Star variegated thread from Coats and Clark. I used to get it at Beverly's but haven't needed to buy any lately.

I have used the Signature brand from Joann's. it is pricy without a coupon but you can get it for $3-4 with a 40% off coupon or wait until they have 50% off thread sale.
