Ok, It looks like I will be sitting with my oldest son for another week or longer. I have two quilts that I want to get started but really no idea how to do that from a hospital room. Three years ago when Richard was in the hospital I knitted until I am sure the eyes in the back of my head went blind. Honestly, I knitted myself out.

Any ideas of how I could at least get these quilts cut out? There isn't a table or anything available in his room. He is on the only floor in the hospital that hasn't been remodeled and the room is pretty sparsely furnished. I could do it on my lap with one of my small cutting boards but not real sure I could get an accurate enough cut? What do you think?

Today I spent my time putting pages in page protectors. I had a HUGH number of patterns that I have printed out and have been wanting to do that for a long time. I will still be able to keep busy doing that tomorrow. But then comes Friday, Saturday, Sunday, etc. you get the idea. I about go nuts just sitting and I read and have been dragging my monster of a lap top so I work on it a bit too. I would so like to get these quilts cut out through while I am just sitting 75% of the time.

Open to ideas, PLEASE?
