Well I am sure most of you remember my fiasco with Singer 9960 Quantum Stylist. After the first one died after 3 months Amazon sent me a second Singer 9960 Quantum Stylist and that one dies after 6 months which Amazon refunded my $$. Well after the first one died my cousin who I am teaching to sew and quilt wanted her own machine and she had learned on mine. So she wanted the same machine. Figuring that probably the first one was just a fluke she bought the same machine from Amazon. Keep in mind that my second one had not died yet!
Every Wednesday her and I get together to sew. So today we both are sewing right along. Me on my Elna (I love it) and her on the Singer........well guess what??? It did the exact thing my 2 Singer 9960 Quantum Stylist did and it died. She purchased her on March 26, 2013 from Amazon. I felt terrible that she had purchased this machine and hers dying also. I called Amazon on he behalf and they refunded her money 100% we will be shopping for a used machine soon. She does not have alot of $$ and she has MS which makes me feel SO badI hope she can find a good machine that will handle 1 day a week of sewing for a reasonable price $250-$300
But the reason I am posting again about this machine is this is the 3rd Singer 9960 Quantum Stylist to have died since October 2012!! Please, please buyer beware. She is going to post a review on Amazon also. This machine had less than 27 hours of sewing on it. If any has any questions regarding purchasing this please contact me.
